There have been several different philosophies developed to describe the nursing concept of caring (10, 13). Some of the most prominent are Katie Eriksson's (14) philosophy of caritative nursing, Kari Martinsen’s (15) care philosophy and Jean Watson's (16) philosophy of human care.
