I applied TMDSAS, so I’m not so sure about AMCAS and AACOMAS, but this Interfolio link provides step by step instructions for how to send your letters depending on your application system. You usually initiate the delivery after your letter writers have uploaded their letters to Interfolio.

You use Interfolio to request a confidential letter. Interfolio sends a link to your letter writer. The writer uploads the letter and you will never see it. You tell Interfolio to deliver the letter to AAMC. You tell AAMC to deliver the letter to your medical schools.
It worked quite well for me a few years ago. I believe, but am not sure, that interfolio gives you an email address to insert there. However, be advised that not all universities accept interfolio and you need to check manually which do.
I had never heard of Interfolio until today, when one of my professors writing me a letter of recommendation said she would prefer to use it rather than submitting each letter individually (4 total colleges).

One of the schools I'm interested in uses Interfolio which seems like its pretty useful. I saw where you can request LOR through them. Is the best method or should I contact my professor directly?
