8 cze 2015 · The great thing about Rome is there are quite a number of hotels that offer both location and luxury, and Intercontinental De la Ville Roma is one of those which has a highly coveted location, and also offers fantastic service and comfort at the same time.
The hotel was going for 250 euros a night ($335) so my 30,000 Priority Club points saved me roughly $300 - not amazing, but not bad. The room was nice, if a little bit cramped. The main benefit was the shared huge outdoor patio with stunning views of the city.
This upscale hotel, located in a historic building that was once a convent, welcomes guests with an elegant, ornate lobby. Of the 192 rooms spread out over eight floors, the suites on the higher floors with balconies are the favored accommodations; the decor isn't quite as luxurious as some may expect given the advertised five-star rating.
