A lot of your experience with the job would depend on the school you have, and they vary greatly. The money is terrible, but no one comes to be an ALT for the money. Interac itself, for my 4 years with them, were very hands off and I only got observed once. Staff were nice and easy to deal with.

It's one of the larger providers of ALTs and AETs to public schools. Does anyone have any experiences (good or bad) with working for Interac?

Similar to other teaching programs, experiences seemed to be dependent on the schools the ALTs were placed in and what their Japanese coworkers were like. Some raved about their placements, others struggled with dominant coworkers and language barriers.
