I'll be arriving in Japan in less than two weeks now with Interac so speaking from experience at having dealt with them and being far enough along that, at least as far as financials goes, I'm fairly well versed.
Many interac ALTs have to take out loans from interac to make ends meet. They are usually dependant on interac for overpriced car rentals, phone plans, and housing setups that keep them deep in the clutches of interac during their stay in Japan.
Just a run of the mill ALT company. Your experience will vary with the region you get. My JHS and EHS didn't request a lot from me and I had a lot of free time studying Japanese. Some other people complained of long work hours til 6pm preparing materials and everything. YmMV
13 gru 2010 · #1. I am taking the plunge, moving from an Eikaiwa to public school, but am trying to find the best way to go about it. Right now, Interac stands out in mind. It's one of the larger providers of ALTs and AETs to public schools. Does anyone have any experiences (good or bad) with working for Interac?
