The Institute of Science has a relatively short but fruitly history, since its establishment in 2004. It is one of UiTM's centers of excellence recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. IOS involves mainly in conducting basic and fundamental research through the five research centers under its umbrella.
Until today, the center has produced many postgraduate students by research at MSc. and PhD. levels. On top of that, the center has many collaborative works and provides continuous testing services to researchers from within the university and also to the outsiders.
Institute of Science (IOS) is an active Centre of Excellence in UiTM which aims to excel in R&D and collaborate with industries together with public, private as well as international universities. Standing with the goal ‘Technology & Knowledge Transfer’, IOS also focuses to serve the public at its best.
