1 lip 2022 · Will this identify incompatible mods, or outdated mods? No, it won't. It's up to you to keep track of which mods work with which versions of your game. However, it will detect "conflict" mods (marked as Duplicate) that basically conflict with another mod you have. It will also detect Empty packages.
19 sty 2023 · Updated CC Tracker to locate CC skintones. Better Exceptions will now alert you when a lastUIException occurs. This usually manifests as visually glitched UI elements as seen above. BE will automatically open the report in your browser and show which mods could be responsible.
The Hack Conflict Detection Utility (HCDU) is an essential tool when using mods, but it does have some shortcomings. it doesn't consider STR#, OBJD, OBJf or other resources. it can't be told which folder to start in. it can't be told to ignore known conflicts (eg all the InTeenimater flavour paks)
It can detect conflicts between mods, but no program can detect conflicts between mods and your specific EP - easiest would be to run through this first: Game Help:Sims 3 Game Problem wiki to rule out/in mods, and if it is mods, try the Dashboard.
Sims 3 Dashboard Tool (Updated July 1 2022): https://modthesims.info/d/387006. It only works with .package files, Not .Sims3Pack files. Please understand, It will show conflicts between some files, but not all. It may also false-flag files, making them look like they're bad when they aren't.
I got zero conflicts which isn't surprising considering how few mods and CC I have. Great to have a tool for conflict detection to point people to when we get the inevitable "It doesn't work!" complaints.
