12 lip 2023 · How to Recover Unsaved Inkscape Files. Since the Inkscape 0.48 version, you can easily recover the unsaved files from the Autosave backup file if the Inkscape Autosave feature is activated. If Inkscape crashes when you are editing a file, Inkscape will attempt to save the document.
7 cze 2020 · I found out that I can by running Inkscape and then go to Edit > Preferences > Input/Output > Autosave > Autosave directory: :\Users\44753\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\inkscape > Copy that > Paste it on the search bar > Open the folder > Choose the latest autosaved file .
Have you „Autosave“ on and checked it´s storage location already? You can check the location in Inkscape Preferences.
Usage. The dialog shows at start-up if the box is checked AND there are any files to recover. The user selects one or more documents and hits Recover or Delete. If he doesn't want to do anything now, clicking on Leave for later closes the dialog and goes on (showing a new document).
