To Save Files in Inkscape for Use with Adobe Illustrator and vice versa. Earlier versions of Inkscape (up to 0.46) supported export to the .ai file format. This required the installation of Ghostscript, and didn't always work well.
29 sty 2018 · All of the drawings get the finishing touches in Adobe Illustrator, but unfortunately, there was no way to export g-code from Illustrator. I always had to go through the added step of opening a program called Inkscape with the sole purpose of generating the g-code which my machines understand.
Another option is to draw in Inkscape, export as DXF, then do the GCode conversion with DXF2GCODE. I did this recently and it worked well.

4 sty 2020 · you should probably add a link to where to get the gcode extension for inkscape. this should be added to the wiki, and (given the state of makercam and flash), we should consider having this replace the makercam based workflow. @bar and others, please test this and think about the makercam issue.

You can then use the G-Code to program a plotter, engraver, or some other machine that does Computer Aided Manufacturing, Modeling, or Machining.
