Compared to reviews of what I've read about OMSCS, the CU Boulder course is quite watered down and not demanding. My impression is that one can go through this program without actually learning much, whereas in OMSCS, many of the course projects require serious toil but you come out better for it.

I was wondering if the new online MSCS at CU Boulder could be a valid alternative to OMSCS. Has anyone ever considered it / switched to it / switched from it? What is your impression on the course?
