90% of the ads I get are between 2-5 minutes long, they do still have the skip button though. Very annoying if you’re not in a position to press the skip button like driving and listening to a playlist.
YouTube’s been rolling out updates to fight ad blockers. I’ve been using ublock on Firefox for years without problem until recently. The only work around right now is use chrome browser with Ublock origin lite. I’m back to ad free videos on YouTube now!
First of all, there is zero reason that there should be any ad on a video that's less than 5 minutes. If they're trying to replicate the old TV model where you have commercials, then the ratio of ad time to video is completely skewed.
