27 cze 2023 · What speakers do I need for a great 7.2.4 setup and how should they be placed? Do I use all ERA 300s? Or do you mix other speakers as well? Best answer by jgatie. You can only add 2 Era 300 surrounds and 1 Sub-Mini/Sub or 2 Subs.

25 gru 2017 · The Atmos front and rear are all ceiling firing and reflect sound off ceiling back to listening area. The receiver will only let me configure speakers as large sides and small rears; it will not let me select any rears if I select small sides. But I can select large sides and large rears.

4 sty 2022 · Dolby Atmos recommended 7.1.4 setup. Rather than just mounting speakers around you, there’s actually quite a bit of study that goes into the placement. Dolby provides some great resources, but I warn you it can get quite complicated and deep with viewing angles and so forth.
The atmos/sofa position is mentioned already. To me the center/Front speaker are to low and probably even directly obstructed by your coffee table which also adds unwanted reflection. Get your front closer and a little higher and you can use their full potential.

Rear surround: In-Wall, KEF ? Atmos: In-ceiling, KEF ? AVR: Denon AVR-X4800H to drive all channels other than LCR. Plan to pay for Dirac Live. LCR 3-Ch Amp: ?
