27 maj 2012 · To be considered eligible for services for persons with a developmental disability, it must be determined that the individual has a severe, chronic disability as defined in IC 12-7-2-61(a), and that the individual meets the standards for ICF/ID-DD LOC defined in 42 CFR §435.1009.
• In 2021, the Indiana General Assembly authorized a 14% rate increase for BDDS home and community based services to increase pay for Direct Support Professionals. To ensure individuals did not lose services, the General Assembly also authorized an increase in the cap for the Family Supports Waiver. The new annual cap for FSW services is $19,614.
