16 gru 2021 · The Inka Empire, also known in Quechua as Tawantinsuyu, was divided into four smaller regions known as "suyus": Chinchasuyu, Contisuyu, Antisuyu, and Collasuyu. These suyus were comprised of different landscapes and populations, offering distinct physical resources and functions to the empire.

The Inca empire (1438 – 1533) incorporated a large portion of western South America (Andes Mountains region). At its largest, the Inca was located on the actual Peru, western Ecuador, western and south Bolivia, northwest Argentina, a large portion of today Chile and southwest Colombia.
