What a gem in Honolulu. A cozy izakaya near the University of Hawaii at Manoa campus with quality Japanese dishes, Imanas Tei is one of our favorites whenever we visit the island.
Fresh, delicious sushi at an affordable price, which is so rare near Waikiki, tender beef tongue, udon noodle soup and sake flights were our highlights. The menu is HUGE so there is plenty for everyone and all tastes. I wish we'd had longer in the area, because we would have definitely returned to try some more.
