11 paź 2015 · In the Store Apps I've tested, three of the 4 buttons in my previously posted image can be controlled via shortcut keys (Alt+F4 to close & combinations of WINDOWS+UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT to control Maximize/Restore/Minimize and even quadrant resizing) regardless of which Store Application I'm in.

Indeed, Windows natively integrates an option allowing to run any application in a maximized window at each opening. To force a program to open in a full-screen window, you must have access to its shortcut icon.
15 paź 2015 · since the release of build 9926 it is now possible to make all apps run in fullscreen mode by switching to tablet mode in your quick settings/notification center. this will however lock all apps to their "windows 8.1" behavior, as well as lock the start menu in its "start screen" mode.
18 kwi 2017 · The magical hotkey is: WIN+SHIFT+ENTER. Once you are using an app in Windows 10, press Windows, Shift and Enter keys together and the app will be switched into full screen mode. The titlebar and Taskbar will be hidden and the whole screen area will be occupied by the app only as shown in following screenshot:
