4 sty 2015 · BetterDisplay is the only app currently with DDC control for all modern Macs (full DDC support for all Apple Silicon Macs including the M1 built-in HDMI ports, and 2018 mini built-in HDMI port). Change display inputs using DDC on supported displays.
18 paź 2021 · I know you can increase display contrast on Mac in Accessibility. But is there some way to decrease contrast? Are there any third-party apps that'll do this in the case that you can't do it natively?
28 cze 2021 · Make sure that the Display Contrast slider below is set to Normal (as in the screenshot), as you will get that message if it is set to anything higher, regardless if Increase Contrast is checked or not.
19 lip 2022 · The “Increase contrast” checkbox is not on in the Accessibility settings. This issue has persisted through several OS Updates including the update from Big Sur to Monterey. What could be causing this?
Increase contrast. Increase the contrast of items on the screen (such as borders around buttons or boxes) without changing the contrast of the screen itself. Reduce transparency. Replace the transparent effect used on some backgrounds in macOS with a solid background, to improve contrast and readability. See Make transparent items solid.

Calibrate your Mac display. How you perceive the colors on your display can be affected by many factors, such as ambient light, the position and angle of the display, and the age of the display. To accommodate for these factors, you can adjust your display using Display Calibrator Assistant.
