If your Mac still doesn’t recognize the attached display, try any of the following: Unplug the display from your Mac, then plug it back in. Make sure the cable you’re using is securely connected to the correct port. Make sure you’re using the correct cable to connect your display.
11 wrz 2024 · If the cables seem fine, try unplugging them for a moment and then plugging them back in. Restarting the external display may give your Mac a fresh shot at recognizing it. If you're using an adapter, make sure that your monitor and cable combo is compatible with your Mac.
12 wrz 2015 · The iMac is starting up: I can hear the chime. The display stays blank (it is completely off), the external display connected through thunderbolt port and hdmi cable says no signal. I opened it: The 1st and the 2nd led are on when the internal display is connected.

The monitor is present in that applications are open on it, can move cursor across to the screen but the screen is blank. DELL U3415W. Things I've tried: reset SMC. reset NVRAM/PRAM. Both USBC ports. different cable. Use detect displays button.
6 gru 2021 · Verify the internal DisplayPort cable and backlight cable connections between the LCD panel and the logic board. Inspect the LCD display cables for cable damage. Using a flashlight, check the following areas on the panel: Look in the top left corner of the panel to see if there is a dim Apple logo (the Apple menu logo).

In other cases, some monitors are completely blacked-out or not charging the MacBook Pro connected by Thunderbolt or USB-C cables.
