11 sie 2014 · No Cost "Repair" for IMA & Battery Failure - Possible Solution. I have not been able to use the IMA for several months. I have been running on gas only - no hybrid mode worked and my IMA light was on. Both the charge indicator and the assist indicator were dead. I fixed this - for FREE.

So, first of all the Plan: Replacing my 170k km battery pack with a selfbuilt 50s1p 20Ah LTO pack. If everything works as intended I might increase the voltage later.

19 lut 2018 · The 12V system feeds the IMA computer, so if your 12V battery goes bad (and it is the weakest element of your G2 Insight!) then the voltage drops below 10 Volt and causes all kinds of systems to throw errors, and the IMA system is one of the first to respond.
13 mar 2022 · I’ve put everything back together and the IMA light and 12v battery light is still on. I’ve also replaced the 12v battery and still no luck. Is there a process I need to follow to somehow re-register the IMA battery to the car, or should it just work?
19 sty 2020 · I've been reading the forums and people's pages, and looked at the websites to identify the best options; the Cardone and Dorman remanufactured packs are cost-prohibitive, and I'd like to install a pack with NEW cells, rather than reconditioned cells, or reconditioning the existing cells.
