Also, consider adding illusory dragon as an 8th-level option, similar to a genie warlock's wish. Being able to summon an illusory representation of your patron as a Mystic Arcanum goes a long way towards establishing that you're truly a dragon warlock.
Is it possible to ride an illusory dragon as created by the Illusory Dragon spell? Xanathar’s says. The illusion is tangible because of the shadow stuff used to create it. But my brother says that since it’s illusory, you can’t ride it. If it were possible, I’d obviously need a saddle of some sort, but would you say it’s possible?
10 paź 2019 · Illusory dragon is great because it grants us some good mobility which also helps with targeting, but on the other hand it's an 8th level spell. In theory I would want to use my 8th level slot and win a fight thanks to its contribution, not just to exploit action economy for some extra AoE blasting.
