2 dni temu · We measured 4 1/2″ in from the front 1×2 trim to the middle of the rod mount and 2 1/2″ inches down from the top shelf to the top of the mount. Once the 2 holes were marked, we drilled them out with a 3/16″ drill bit, making sure to only drill as deep as the other PAX holes by using painter’s tape on the drill bit.
Ikea PAX depth cutdown. I’ve seen a ton of hacks of cutting down the height of an IKEA pax unit, however no one seems to be discussing cutting down the depth. It is much easier to get the 22” depth unit right now whereas the 13” units have been sold out forever.
