View message headers in Outlook on your desktop. Double-click an email message to open it outside of the Reading Pane. Click File > Properties. Header information appears in the Internet headers box. 3 sie 2023 · According to this support article from Microsoft, message headers can be viewed within Outlook.com or the new Outlook app for Windows. This option works correctly for INBOX mail, however in the SENT mailbox there is no option to view the full message headers in the area indicated.
In order to get the transport message headers I have to use the EWS makeEwsRequestAsync method, which requires the ReadWriteMailbox permission level. See the article Understanding Outlook add-in permissions for more on this.
How can I view the source of an email in Outlook 2013? I want to see the exact email source, as I can do in Gmail or in Mozilla Thunderbird. I'm particularly interested in the top matter (headers?).
