23 maj 2020 · I have Cpu aftermarket cooler 40 C CPU 700-800 RPM (12CM fan). Under load 1000-1100 RPM (46-50 C) Case fans are also around 800.
10 lis 2020 · My AIO cooler allows me to do three things: 1) Use PWM to variate the pump speed depending on the CPU load. 2) Set its RPM to 100% constantly (2700RPM) 3) Set its RPM to a lower percentage, like 35% For me, the first option seemed by far the loudest and I also read that constantly changing RPM on the pump might impact its lifetime negatively.
17 cze 2022 · Typical CPU FAN Speeds depend on the dimensions of the Fan. Larger Fans rotate slower than small fans, while pushing the same amount of air. Larger Fans are also quieter, thanks to lower RPMs. Here are typical CPU FAN RPM Ranges depending on the Fan Size of your CPU Cooler: 140mm Fans: ~400 – 1200 RPM; 120mm Fans: ~500 – 1500 RPM
Say you notice that it heats up to 60 degrees when it spikes, set the curve so the fans spin faster at like 65 degrees, so if your cpu is actually hitting that temperature constantly (and not just for a second when it spikes), the fans are running at a good speed.
For example, an idle PC will have fans that run at low RPM while gaming PCs will run closer to peak RPM to cool the CPUs. There is no stipulation that CPU fans should run at the same speeds; thus, expect your CPU fan to adjust the RPM intuitively depending on cooling requirements.

23 paź 2011 · Yeah, seems pretty normal with a PWM-fan :) It simply makes the fan speed vary with the temperature of the processor to avoid unnessecary noise :) I would say that your problem not having the speedfan set right.
