If your out-of-state certificate has expired and you wish to apply for Idaho certification, the best option is to do whatever is required to renew your out-of-state certificate and then apply for an Idaho Interim Certificate.
Idaho Educational Credentials can be renewed online *only if* there are no changes to endorsements and the current credential expires on August 31st of this year. Any renewals requiring changes or additions to certifications or endorsements must be done using the application under "Mail-in Forms" in the menu above.
When you apply, all certification areas will renew for one fee. This allows you to count all CPE hours toward renewal of all your certificate. If your professional certificate is issued for less than the full five years, your CPE hours are prorated; 10 hours for each full year.
Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is required for all Texas educators holding a standard certificate. The appropriate number of clock-hours of continuing professional education (CPE) must be completed during each five-year renewal period (TAC §232.11).
You must apply and pay online to renew your standard certificate. Log into your TEAL account to access your educator account. Once in TEAL, click View My Educator Certification Account to log into your Educator Certification Online System (ECOS) account.
