6 paź 2015 · My understanding was that "download and keep originals" would store the original photo or video that you take on that device, on your device and upload a copy onto the cloud. For example, if you take a photo with your ipad, it will upload a version onto the cloud and keep another in your ipad.
15 wrz 2022 · The two iCloud Photos storage settings options in iOS > Settings > Photos are: Optimize iPhone Storage. If your iPhone is low on space, full-resolution photos and videos are automatically replaced with smaller, device-sized version. Full-resolution versions can be downloaded from iCloud anytime.
Normally, just going to iCloud then Photos and selecting "Download And Keep Originals" should fix that, but I noticed it could take a VERY long time for the iPhone to slowly download photos.
