If you're using a PC, you can set up iCloud for Windows and download a copy of your photos and videos from iCloud Photos.
8 cze 2020 · I would try using iCloud for Windows to manage your downloads. Check out the “Download your photos and videos from iCloud Photos” instructions here: Set up and use iCloud Photos on your Windows PC - Apple Support. This should allow you to designate a download location.
Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud. Tap Photos, then turn on Sync this iPhone. iCloud automatically uploads every photo and video you take to iCloud, so your photos are backed up and in sync, and you can access your library from any device, anytime.
15 wrz 2022 · The two iCloud Photos storage settings options in iOS > Settings > Photos are: Optimize iPhone Storage. If your iPhone is low on space, full-resolution photos and videos are automatically replaced with smaller, device-sized version. Full-resolution versions can be downloaded from iCloud anytime.
Tip: How to force download original quality photos from iCloud. I upgraded from a low-storage iPhone X to a larger 12 Pro. On the X, I had "Optimize iPhone Storage" enabled and since I had so much extra storage, I wanted to just keep all the originals on my phone.
iCloud Photos stores your original photos in iCloud and keeps your photos up to date on your Mac and your iOS and iPadOS devices. You can also keep the originals in your System Photo Library on your Mac, or you can just keep thumbnails (smaller versions) of your photos on your Mac to conserve storage space.
