In my opinion the best way is using a program called Heroic Game's Launcher, you can find it in Steam Deck desktop mode in the application store called discover. Just download the program, link your Epic games account, and install the games.

15 kwi 2024 · To play Epic Games Store games on your Steam Deck, install the Heroic Games Launcher or NonSteamLaunchers. To install and play Epic Games Store games with Heroic download and install the launcher, log in to the Epic Games Store, and download the games you want to play.
Heroic launcher is the easiest, working and most up to date. Install the launcher in desktop mode via the discover store, run, sign into your account, then install a couple of games. For each game, if you select it and hit the "tools" tab, you can add each game as a steam game.
Heroic launcher or sideload epic games store to steam...both ways work almost the same, but heroic got more settings to fix some game issues that might come up :)
29 kwi 2024 · Playing Epic games on the Steam Deck has always been a bit of work, but it is possible to do. You would need to go through the Epic Launcher in Desktop Mode and add it to Steam, or you could use the Heroic Launcher and add games directly to Steam, but it does still require you to go to Desktop Mode.
