Iceberg rose, also known as Rosa Iceberg or Iceberg climbing rose, is a hybrid climbing rose. It’s a cross between the species Rosa rugosa and Rosa alba (the white rose). It will grow up and over other plants and structures in order to get as much sunlight as possible.
Iceberg Rose is bathed in stunning fragrant pink flowers at the ends of the branches from early summer to mid fall. The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has dark green foliage throughout the season. The oval compound leaves turn yellow in fall. The fruit is not ornamentally significant.
This legendary, carefree rose bursts with huge clusters of large, pure white, lightly honey-scented blooms all season long. Light green, glossy foliage provides a lovely backdrop to the flowers. Iceberg Roses are extremely disease resistant, vigorous and floriferous.
Very free flowering, Iceberg Floribunda Rose bush blooms in flushes from late spring into late fall. Borne in clusters of up to 15 flowers per spray, the honey-scented double blooms are bright white and display a tuft of golden stamens when fully open.
