17 paź 2019 · It sounds like it is doing what you want - detecting the two switch points based on ambient light. All you really care is that the switch-off event becomes a switch-on event and vice-versa. If that really is a SPDT relay, then it already has the function you need.
19 sty 2014 · I’ve been trying to figure this out for the last hour. I have some outdoor lights that I want to turn on at Dusk and off at a specific time. I used the Sunrise/Sunset app to turn the lights on at Sunset, but can’t figure out how to turn them off at 2:00 AM rather than at Sunrise.
Where I used to live had a smart things switch which controlled the lights via sunset/sunrise time instead of ambient light. Is there an advantage of having the smart switch versus a light sensing dusk to dawn?

2 cze 2015 · a dawn to dusk would use a photo transistor. that type of sensor would be used for light detection in burgler alarm systems and would operate a relay. you could probably find them someplace. but you could also relay and low voltage control ckts as well.
