The JATC now offers the 20hr High Hazard Facility Training required at the refineries. Check the nwejatc.org website under the Journeyman and CEUs tab and then Journeyman CEU Schedule & Class Registration.
There is no cost for the training for apprentices or other IBEW construction members, other than the purchase of books. Most of the training is done at the NWEJATC training center in Mount Vernon, with various classes held on weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.

Union programs are part of the joint trust between the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). The NECA-IBEW guides union electrician training through Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committees (JATCs) throughout the country.
