23 lip 2020 · Unfortunately the edge and edge pro need modifications to fit. I once changed a edge iii for a edge pro and I had to widen the trem posts by 1mm and extend the butt end of the trem cut to allow the extra space of the string lock screws.
The new Edge Pro trem rout in much longer than the Edge or Lo Pro giving the spring claw much further travel, allowing 3 springs [or more] a much higher tension. Some people like to set their trem to a negative angle as they feel it returns to neutral better.
3 lut 2010 · I have an RG body with the trem cavity routed for an Edge Pro (Cavity was CNC'd ala an RG1570) but I would prefer to add a full locking trem. Now an OFR is no problem at all as I love Floyds, but I am after an Ibanez look to this guitar so would prefer an if possible to fit an Original Edge.
