No, it is NOT worth working at CVS. My sister works there and since she has worked less than a year CANNOT GET PAID SICK LEAVE unless she has covid. She was forced to come into work even with terrible allergies sicker than a dog.
CVS is great as long as you don't work in the actual retail locations. Working remotely in the tech RX helpline is genuinely an easygoing job, and you're technically corporate so the benefits are fairly solid.
I just hate CVS for their ethics and the way their system, app, and website are so broken. I also feel like I can't leave right now because everyone quit except me and the interns. We just hired 4 people but it's going to be a while before they're trained.
4 mar 2010 · I have never seen so much hate towards an employer. CVS generally doesn't pay more than the other chains. Heck, Target pays about the same...and look at the difference in the work environment and job satisfaction in those two places.
