Results: Street prices of high-potency drugs hydromorphone and oxycodone increased 23% and 12% per milligram, respectively.

Although percentage changes on the log scale were notable and significant, they represent small absolute differences in mean price per milligram.
Street price appears to be a useful indicator of drug popularity among abuser groups. Formulary decisions may need to consider prescription opioid abuse and diversion rates and street prices for illicit sales.
