Divine Farmland adds new tiered farmlands with incredible features for each farmland. Beware though, some farmlands are hard to create but in exchange for a difficult recipe, an awesome upgrade will contain the farmland.

Aquifer Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) is here with a solution. This mod makes it so that farmland will be hydrated if there is water in the block space below the farmland. The images below show how a large area of farmland can be hydrated without the need for a gap amongst the crops for water.

This is a simple Minecraft server-side Fabric mod that makes small modifications to the way farmland blocks can be hydrated, and grass, dirt, or sand blocks can be hydrated to allow sugarcane to be placed on them.
A farmland block is created dry, and eventually reverts back to dirt if not hydrated and nothing is planted on it. For farmland to become hydrated, water must be present: up to four blocks away horizontally (including diagonally) from the farmland block.

Under the correct amount of darkness, Mushrooms can be placed on Rich Soil to turn them into a Mushroom Colony, which can be harvested to give Mushroom Caps. Rich Soil can be converted into Rich Farmland using a Hoe.
