17 gru 2019 · The Hunter Pistol can be useful for ranged staggering, opening up visceral attacks, or dispatching small enemies. Can be used to lure opponents, but it may simply be better to use a Pebble for this purpose instead.
The pistol is better for hiting distant targets and has a slightly faster recovery so you can close the distance between you and a stunned enemy. You can also use it to interrupt or stun mobs in the back rows or in high places.
Hunter pistol type weapons are more for dealing dmg and have a fast response to help a little in saving you from getting attacked before you parry. Hunter blunderbuss does multihit strikes, best suited for parrying since it is much safer as it can stagger most enemies if the parry failed.
Pistols can be effective. I just used the evelyn against a high level boss. Evelyn is +6 and my bloodtinge is at 28. The evelyn shot for 154 damage consistently.
