I picked up a Humminbird Helix 5 DI GPS and am having some issues. I've been through all the humminbird FAQs and troubleshooting guide. I currently have an email thread going back and forth.
5 sty 2016 · Humminbird Helix 5 I've had the DI version since March and really like it. Mounted on front of pontoon and have no problems with viewing screen in direct sun. I troll a lot and the resolution is great for my fishing. I also use Navionics Boating USA on phone for gps and really like it also. Really don't have any cons for either, IMHO.

The Helix 5 DI GPS is just like the SI version, but with only DI and 2D sonar capabilities. The DI pictures really pop with detail on this new display. If you like to fish structure like points, bars, and ledges, the down imaging is a super useful tool.
