9 lis 2009 · Open Notepad or similar text editor, and start a new blank document. Type Tab. Copy your tab character to the clipboard. (On Windows, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+C will do this). Now switch back to the textarea in your browser. Position the cursor where you want it, and paste the tab character. (Ctrl+V on Windows). Voila, done!
7 kwi 2024 · So this is really, REALLY annoying: Powerpoint: ctrl+shift+c/ +v respectively, still work for copy/ paste formats. Word: ctrl+shift+c/ +v respectively, no longer work. However, replace the shift with the alt key, and it works: ctrl+alt+c/ +v is now working for copy/ paste formats in Word.
Depending on your OS, open up a program like Notepad (Windows), and type a TAB. Highlight it, and copy it to the clipboard. Paste it into the text field. As long as SuperUser doesn't edit it out (the application could if it wanted to), there is a tab character between the brackets below. [Before Tab] [After Tab]
