Either the seed or the key. I don't know if there's a cap on seeds, and it ultimately ends up at, say, +15 for example. If that's the case, I'll take the key because I know I'll eventually catch up on estus (or w/e it's called in ER) upgrades.
Now I need to decide my keepsake. I keep deciding between the Stonesword Key or Golden Seed. I would advise against the key. It's only use that early is opening a sub dungeon in the tutorial area that...is not fun for new players. Come back to it with a bit more experience. Golden seed. Golden Seed for sure.
