The Government of Himachal Pradesh, Department of Education vide its letter No. Shiksha-II(J)2-1/89 dated 2-8-1995 as notified by the Registrar of the University vide letter No. 4-41/93-HPU(Genl) dated 16 th September, 1995 has exempted tuition fee for girls for admission to various courses.
Admission to HPU programs is based on the merits of the qualifying exam or entrance exam conducted by HPU. However, medical programs admission is based on NEET exam scores. For MBA programs, the university also conducts Group discussions and Interview rounds. Check HPU Courses and Fees.
