2 mar 2023 · Successfully added the StarTech Ethernet to Parallel Network Print Server (PM1115P2), changed its IP address to make it compatible with my network and I can ping the server. However, though the print queue indicates it is printing, nothing happens.

That's normally called a parallel cable, a Centronics cable or a printer cable. So your physical setup requires two things: a USB-to-Centronics* adapter (which it seems you already own) and; a parallel cable.
15 kwi 2006 · What is the best solution for this - an adapter on the parallel end (computer side) of my existing printer cable, or is there a replacement ptinert cable that has a USB connection on the computer side and will plug into the Laserjet 1100 on the printer side?
4 cze 2020 · I have an old HP Laserjet 1100 printer connected with a USB adapter to a Windows 7 pc. When I try printing anything only this comes out: https://i.imgur.com/ekLk02p.jpg. Any ideas? Once I plugged the usb cable windows detected the printer mode and installed drivers all automatically.
