18 wrz 2018 · I am not able to adjust the brightness using the function keys on my laptop. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the display drivers with no luck.
15 lut 2018 · I have several ZBooks (15 G4 and 14u G4) where the function keys for display brightness (fn+f5 or fn+f6) do not work under Windows 10 Pro. The other function keys do work, such as volume or keyboard backlight.
18 maj 2016 · The keyboard keys fn+f5 and fn+f6 do not work for changing the brightness under windows 10. Other fn keys, like for changing the volume - work. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Keyboard function keys (f1 through f12) often have a printed icon that indicates a secondary action, such as muting sound or adjusting display brightness. The secondary functionality is sometimes called action keys mode or hotkeys. On some keyboards, you must press the fn key to enable that command.
16 gru 2021 · Press the Fn button + the brightness up/down function key and verify that the display brightness has changed. Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 keys used on my laptop to adjust brightness. These combinations may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer.
14 lut 2020 · If you've not installed HP Support Assistant yet, please install it from their website and restart it. It should be solved. But if not (that's my case), then go to windows searchbar and type Services. Go there, find HP Hotkey UWP Service, right click, stop it first and start it again. And Fn is working fine in my laptop.
19 maj 2018 · Windows 10. As title suggests the function keys for my laptop have stopped adjusting the brightness for my laptop. I can adjust by going into the settings fine but can't use the keys. I have updated all my display drivers but still no joy.
