11 wrz 2024 · Product: HP Elitebook 840 G5. While messing in the bios I reset the bios and later when I boot into windows the brightness adjustment function keys didn’t work. I installed windows 11 and it was not fixed, then I reinstalled windows 10 again, the problem persisted.
15 lut 2018 · I have several ZBooks (15 G4 and 14u G4) where the function keys for display brightness (fn+f5 or fn+f6) do not work under Windows 10 Pro. The other function keys do work, such as volume or keyboard backlight.
16 sie 2018 · So the graphics drivers are installed...so the only other item I can think of that you would need is the hotkey software. HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads. If that doesn't get the Fn keys to change the brightness, unfortunately, I don't have any other suggestions for you.
16 gru 2021 · Option 3. Adjusting Brightness with Function Keys. Most laptops have special function keys labeled 🔆 and 🔅. Press the Fn button + the brightness up/down function key and verify that the display brightness has changed.
25 gru 2016 · Installing Intel Graphics Command Center and adjusting the brightness from there worked (the brightness range goes from -60 to 100). Also, I would recommend to install Dell's SupportAssist because it found newer updates to the graphics driver that a simple Windows update missed.
24 sty 2016 · I now have this issue of the F11 & F12 (keys no longer adjusting the brightness of the LCD screen on my Dell Inspiron 3558 laptop running Windows 10 Home 10.0.14393. It has happened in the past, but only intermittently, and a full reboot usually cleared up the problem.
16 lut 2022 · If the Fn key did not work with the function keys to change the brightness, boot your laptop into BIOS, check if there is a setting in there to switch between Function keys and Action keys. _____
