18 wrz 2018 · I am not able to adjust the brightness using the function keys on my laptop. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the display drivers with no luck. Solved!
16 gru 2021 · Press the Fn button + the brightness up/down function key and verify that the display brightness has changed. Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 keys used on my laptop to adjust brightness. These combinations may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer.
14 lut 2020 · Get the HP Driver Update Application, run it and update all Drivers. It appears your Hotkey Driver is out of date or had some other problem. Updating all Drivers should fix this
17 mar 2022 · More than likely there’s a function key or a function lock which is on or stuck. Check in the lower left hand part of the keyboard for an fn key. Press and hold that and see if you can get the brightness to work.
Keyboard function keys (f1 through f12) often have a printed icon that indicates a secondary action, such as muting sound or adjusting display brightness. The secondary functionality is sometimes called action keys mode or hotkeys. On some keyboards, you must press the fn key to enable that command.
4 lip 2018 · I've got a new HP ProBook 430 G5 running Windows 10 Home. I am having difficulties with adjusting the brightness of the screen via the function keys. I can do it manually but I would prefer being able to use F3 and F4. The other Function Keys work when pressing fn.
20 maj 2018 · So somehow my brightness adjustment keys (f3 & f4) on my laptop stopped working along with any brightness adjustment such as 'Darkest mode' in battery tab has been disabled. There's nothing wrong with the hardware of the keys as I tested that other functions like alt+f4 still work.
