18 wrz 2018 · I am not able to adjust the brightness using the function keys on my laptop. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the display drivers with no luck. Solved!
15 lut 2018 · I have several ZBooks (15 G4 and 14u G4) where the function keys for display brightness (fn+f5 or fn+f6) do not work under Windows 10 Pro. The other function keys do work, such as volume or keyboard backlight.
16 sie 2018 · If so, you need to install the applicable graphics driver(s) for your notebook. Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category. If you see a device listed as a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, that means you have to install the graphics driver for it.

17 mar 2022 · More than likely there’s a function key or a function lock which is on or stuck. Check in the lower left hand part of the keyboard for an fn key. Press and hold that and see if you can get the brightness to work.
16 lut 2022 · If the Fn key did not work with the function keys to change the brightness, boot your laptop into BIOS, check if there is a setting in there to switch between Function keys and Action keys. _____

Press the Fn button + the brightness up/down function key and verify that the display brightness has changed. Fn+F11 and Fn+F12 keys used on my laptop to adjust brightness.
