19 kwi 2015 · Howse rotary cutters are less expensively made than the big names but are priced accordingly. I once owned a 5' Howse and found the deck metal too thin for my purposes. That said, the cut quality was OK, and it was light, which is sometimes an advantage.
18 lut 2015 · I have been looking at rotary cutters for a few weeks and have narrowed it down to the JD MX10 pull type and the Woods DS120 pull type. I asked for opinions on the DS120 in another post and received positive feedback on the Woods unit.
There are lots of good ones out there. I have looked at JD's MX series brushhogs, and those look pretty good. I know Rhino and Bush Hog make some super heavy duty cutters, but for the price of one I could get several of their medium duty cutters. I went with a medium duty Rhino 6' last year, model TW72 for $2,300 new.
