19 kwi 2015 · Howse rotary cutters are less expensively made than the big names but are priced accordingly. I once owned a 5' Howse and found the deck metal too thin for my purposes. That said, the cut quality was OK, and it was light, which is sometimes an advantage.
13 mar 2012 · Can anyone give me an idea on the quality of cut from a Howse Rotary Cutter? I'd like to use a rotary cutter, because it would be more versitle than a finish mower, but the areas I'm cutting need to look nice. Any help would be great. Thanks

10 wrz 2019 · I called up Howse. Two styles of bolts for these cutters (model 500). Some were squared and some had the nub to keep from spinning. Won't be able to tell which, until I get one out.
14 sty 2018 · My father bought a 7 foot Howse to use instead of his 40 year old Bush Hog brand. We still have the Bug Hog the Howse is long gone. Run far, Run fast
What's better, a 5 foot Bush Hog Brand Squealer for $750 or a 5 foot Howse model 0500(I think that's the model #) for $850. The squealer does come with a slip clutch, but I've been told that the squealer's are nothing but cheap junk.
