19 kwi 2015 · Howse rotary cutters are less expensively made than the big names but are priced accordingly. I once owned a 5' Howse and found the deck metal too thin for my purposes. That said, the cut quality was OK, and it was light, which is sometimes an advantage.
13 mar 2012 · Can anyone give me an idea on the quality of cut from a Howse Rotary Cutter? I'd like to use a rotary cutter, because it would be more versitle than a finish mower, but the areas I'm cutting need to look nice. Any help would be great. Thanks
A basic Howse Model 500 should cost $480 to $520 (Arkansas price). Slip clutch and chains are options. The Squeeler will be a lot more. Both the Howse and the Squeeler are utility rigs. King Kutter makes a comperable rotary cutter that falls somewhere between the Howse and the Squeeler in price.

16 cze 2014 · I have an old and rusty 5' Howse rotary cutter. Just got a new drive shaft for it and ran it this past weekend on my Ford 3910 and it worked real well. Having never checked the blades on it I decided to do so.
This 7' cutter has a 10 gauge powdered coated round back deck with 8" sides. It comes standard with a round blade carrier, 2 laminated rubber tires, a 100 horsepower gearbox, 1.46:1 ratio, #6 series slip clutch driveshaft, and chain guards.
