I think they re-run the card, reset it in the system or some such. In my case they told me when I ride again to tap and that same one again. It would be denied, but to go ahead and tap a second time and it would work. Their website is https://omny.info. You can also email them at customersupport@omny.info. OMNY kinda sucks.
