You can also use CDs & DVDs settings to set how your Mac responds when you insert a blank disc. To open these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, then click CDs & DVDs in the sidebar. (If you don’t have an optical drive connected to your Mac, CDs & DVDs settings aren’t available.)
8 wrz 2016 · I am running Mac OS X 10.9.5 on my MacBook Pro and I was wondering how I could use a blank DVD-R as a form of rewritable media for documents, music, spreadsheets, etc.? My mac let's me burn to the disc, however I can not rewrite to it after this.
Insert a blank disc into your optical drive. If a dialog appears, click the pop-up menu, then choose Open Finder. Select “Make this action the default” if you want to open the Finder every time you insert a blank disc.
