5 paź 2024 · The "Wii system" is not intrinsecally region locked, whatever launcher you use may be. As said by @FancyNintendoGamer567 there's a Priiloader patch to run foreign software from the official Wii Menu, pretty much every 3rd party loader (Gecko OS, Neogamma, usb loaders, etm) is region free out of the box. Follow this: https://wii.guide/. It'll show you how to install the Homebrew Channel and Priiloader. It's super easy. You have to install homebrew channel and prilloader, from there you can enable region free (and make a backup of the wii nand that is better but to do it you need a boot2).
Followed all instructions over at WiiU Hacks Guide and now I got Tiramisu and the vWii homebrew basics installed. I can't seem to find how I'm supposed to unlock the region-lock on the vWii mode.
